THE PLACE OF JOY IN THE MARCH TO TRIUMPH
Hebrews 12:1-3; Isa 12:3; Hab. 3:17-19; Joel 1:10-12; Ps 45:6-7; Isa 61:1-7
Joy is a virtue that has unlimited capacity to provoke peace and triumph in the life of its carrier. If joy is not available life will be miserable. Joy is what makes life meaningful and colorful. Those who maintain joy will never suffer devastation. Joy is one of the secrets of champions, and the inner zeal that breeds greatness. Only those that can see the future can invest in today with joy. Jesus saw His great future and was filled with joy (Heb 12:1-2). One of the reasons Jesus came was to give us OIL OF JOY for mourning (Isa 61:3). The same oil of gladness with which Jesus was anointed is made available to us. By this we are launched into the realms of triumph to ride into our high places. By this also we can excel above our fellows just like Christ (Ps 45:7). When the joy of the Lord becomes your strength, you can do all things like Apostle Paul. Nehemiah 8:10; Phil 2:13
In describing the state of the redeemed in Isa 35:10, the Bible said, And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. This is joy unspeakable and full of glory which Peter saw in the believers 1 Peter 1:8. No one in Zion is permitted to sigh or sorrow. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Isa 65:18,19. Paul admonished the believers and said Rejoice in the Lord always; and again, I say, Rejoice … Phil 4:4-7
For ye shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isa 55:12. The joy of the Lord turns a believer into a celebrity. As the joy of the Lord fills our heart, victory, success, accomplishment and advancement shall surely follow. That makes you a celebrity.
- This joy prevails over unpleasant circumstances. 3:17-19
- Joy facilitates your access to revelations Isa 12:3; Ps 16:11
- The joy of the Lord brings health and vitality Pro 17:22; Neh. 8.10. Joyful people never get weak. They draw their strength from the presence of the Lord and go from strength to strength. Ps 84:7
- Joy facilitates Supernatural fruitfulness and increases Ps 67:4-7
Having seen the Place of Joy in the March to Triumph, DON’T LET THE ENEMY STEAL YOUR JOY. When that happens
- Hope is lost, complaints reign 1 Cor 10:10; Phil 2:14
- Complications set in. Ps 106:15; 1 Thess. 5:16-18
- Fruitfulness ceases Isa 16:10; Joel 1:10-12
Finally, be assured that ultimately triumph is your portion. Just have the right approach to the situation facing you with the mindset of a victor as JESUS did. Heb 12:1-3. Phil 2:5-11. Fortify your heart with the following scriptures.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. Ps 46:1-5
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Rom 8:28
PRAYER: Nothing shall take away my Joy. O Father anoint me today with the oil of joy and gladness. John 16:22; Isa 61:1-3
